SKETCH CLUB.
The School of Art Sketch Club held its annual meeting on Saturday evening. Mis E. Wallwork presided over the gathering. The annual report showed a most success fill reßult of the year'B work- ' Good progress had been made and tho standard of° tho work dona was steadily improving. The critics were tendered votes of thanks for their great assistance, and votes of thanks were carried also to the. retiring officers, in particular Mr A. E. Wildey, the retiring secretary, to whose energy and enthusiasm the club owed so much. The ncwJy-elected officers for tho vcar are:—President, Mi R. Wallwork; vicepresident, Mr A. P.. .Nicoll; honorary vicepresidents, Mrß .E. Wallwork, Mrs J. G. Collin3, Mr A. E. Wildey: secretary, Mr R. S. Clark; 'reasuier, Mr A. C. "Hip-well; committee. Misses Edna Bruce, M. Anderson, A. Benhaiu. Messrs C. Lovell-Smith. W. Head, A. Cook, U. McLeod, S. Blakely. Mr A. E Nicoll. on behalf of the Sketch Club, welcomed Mr Wallwork, also Mr J, Johnston, the new crafts master. Mr Wallwork gave an interesting talk on art conditions in England.
