BRITISH WAR GRAVES.
PRINCE OF WALES SATISFIED. (BY CABLE —PEESS ASSOCIATION —COPYRIGHT.) {AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION.) LONDON, January 14. The Prince of Wales has written to Sir L. Worthington Evans expressing satisfaction, as President of the "War Graves Commission, that Britain, Canada, and Australia are conjointly endowing the Commission, with £5,000,000.
He hopes the interest will provide sufficient income to maintain tho cemoteries, graves, and monuments ill a manner fulfilling the pledges given to the relatives, who may rest assured that the last resting places will be properly cared for.
The Prince gratefully congratulates the Commission on the successful .accomplishment of the great task.
