England is getting the tail end of the storm which plunged most of Europe into the bitterest cold. Even Eomo is snow-covered. Lyons towns have been flooded for the first time in history, while Perpignan is completely isolated. Six hundred fishing families on the Barcelona coast have been rendered homeless by huge waves sweeping over the tide marks. Even in the Eiverina the temperature is nine degrees below zero. HEAVY FALL IN ENGLAND. (AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION.) LONDON, January 14. Heavy snowfalls have occurred in London and the Midlands. Hunting had to be abandoned.
