KILLED ON CROSSING.
BODY IDENTIFIED.
(PBESS ASSOCIATION TELEGSAIL) PALMERSTON N., January 15. The unidentified body of a man, about 27 yeara of age, was found this morning beside the railway line near at crossing between Palmerston North and Bunnythorpe. The body, which , was that of a mail about 6ft lin ja height, had been hurled over a chain northward from the crossing, which indicated that he had been struck the north-bound Limited express last evening. Both legs were broken, and there were terrible injuries to the head and body. • Later. The victim of the Bunnythorpe crossing fatality was Denis Francis Geaney, aged 21 years, resident with his father and brother at Sandilands street. Feeding. Other relatives reside at Rotorua.
