Methodist Sunday School. On Sunday afternoon the Methodist Sunday School closed down for the usual vacation. The service was celebrated as a gift afternoon for the poor of Ohristchurch, and a considerable quantity of goods was received. Mrs W. J. 'Williams, of Deaconess House, addressed the scholars, and at the doso presented both the Sunday School and Morning Star Brigade prizes. The awards wero as follows: —Infants —Girls: Botty Ernmett 1, Mona Dickie 2, Jean Pcrkjus 3; special prlre, Audrey Shrimpton. Boys: Jack Morgan 1, David Connolly 2, Douglas Richards 3; special prize, Jack Morgan. Junior class—Girls: Edna Perkins I, Ada Cogle ?,, Ngaire Watkina 3, Gwcn Williams 4; special prize, Rene Connolly. Boys: Neal Watkin3 1, Oliver Richards 2, Keith Dickie 3, Percy Williams 4. .
