MOTOR MISHAPS.
OCCUPANT LOSES AN EYE. (rEESS ASSOCIATION TELECRAM.) DUNEDIN, November 27. At Milton on Tuesday a motor-car collided with an electric ligjit pole, and cra.sb.ed through a fence. Gilbert Burnett (Mount Stuart) lost an eye and received other injuries, and Leonard Watson, Duuedin, suffered from general shock.
CAR SOMERSAULTS. (PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) DUNEDIN, November 27. Yesterday afternoon John Hollows, a taxi-driver, who wsls alone- in a new Jewett car, ran over an embankment near Abbotsford Station and was taken to hospital in an unconscious condition. The car turned three somersaults, landing on tho railway track.
