WHEAT CONTROL.
CONFERENCE OF MILLERS. To discuss Government control of wheat and other questions ■■, connected with the industry, a conference of millers' representatives yesterday met the Minister of Agriculture (Hon. W. N.osworthy and Messrs G. W. Clinkard, Advisory Officer to the Department of Industries and Commerce; D. Colquhoun. officer in charge, Christchirren; and L. J. Schmidt, advisory accountant. The 7>roceedings -were taken in committee and no information was available for publication. It is understood, however, that certain decisions were come to which will be submitted to the conference to be held at Ashburton on Thursday next between representatives of the Government, the Wheat Board, merchants, millers, poultrymen, and growers.
