TO THB EDITO3 OT "TEE PEKSB." Sir j—When reading Saturday's "Press" I noticed a- paragraph takfn from the Akaroa paper in reference to a calf born at Robinson's Bay having the earmark of the mother. The calf referred to wcs born at JDuvauchello, on Mrs S. I. Cogan's farm. It has a distinct V tak<yi from the end of each ear, being the exact, earmark of the mother. The calf is now owned by the writer, and is quite normal.— Yours, etc.. G. HAY WARD. Robinson's Bay. September 13th. •
