RECORD RAINFALL.
(PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) GISBOBNE, August 14 Since May Ist the Pakihiroa Station on the East Coast, has recorded 73 84 inches of rain, and the Waiorongomai Station 67.63 inches. This is probably the heaviest record for Xew Zealand During the last 24 hours 5.59 indies fell at Waiorongomai.
