MEETING OF COMMITTEE. A meeting of tho General Committee of the Xavv League. Canterbury (X.Z.) Branch, was held" in the Hall lost night, Mr W. Walton presiding. Others present were—Mesdames Xorton Francis, A. Smith, Wyatt, and Mia* Cresswell, Messrs H. L. Bowker, W. J. Oracroft Wilscn, D. Manson, Lieut.-Com. H. B. Anderson, and Lieut. Kersley. _ The statement of receipts and expenditure showed a credit balance cf £93 ]Cs id.
