o VISIT TO SOUTH ISLAND. (special to "the press.") WELLINGTON, June 3. In about q. fortnight's time the Minister of Education (the Hon. Sir Parr) will go to Ihmedin to lay the foundation stone of the new Medical School there, at the request of the Otago University Council. During lii.-» southern trip Sir James will open the Oamaru Junior High School, and will i:ttend a ceremony in connexion with the establishment of the new type ot "consolidated'' primary school. In this case seven small schools will be closed, and the transport of children to ©no central school arranged.
