The story, based on the old legend of Aii Baba. and the Forty Thieves, lencjs itself to the producer's art, and the result must be seen to be believed. The way in .which the lovers Omar and Zahrat pass through trials and dangers gives a sensation of thrilling romance rarely found in film achievements. ' Betty Blythe, who has a heavy partto perform as the beautiful Persian Princess, viinrms bevond measure -with her clever portrayal of Zahrat. Sho was captive of Abois Hassan, the cruoL robber shoik, who, as Chu Chin Chow, revisits Ivasim, and tinder jiretence of buying Zahrat back in the private slave market, rob;- tile rich merchants who bid desperately for the beautiful girl. Hassan carries her off ta his cavo filled with jars of precious stones and bags of gold, and ho takes there her lover Omar, whom he tortures with the sight of Zahrat in his hands beforo leaving the pair to their doom. The qrtifices of the bold robber meet with success until a. chance cornea for Zahrat to turn the tables at the great feast, in . which thousands of white-robed turbaned figures participate. Herbert Langley stands out as Hassan (Chu Chin Chow}, and Jameson Thomas P3 Omar makes an engaging desert lover. Handle Ayrlon, as the wealthy Kasim, Judd Green as Ali Baba, and Eva Monro as Alcol, K'asim's wife, who is loved by all, are inimitable in tlieir several parts, and each enhances the delight of this magnificent screen love-drama. Vocal iteina from "Chu Chin Chow," "Kissing Time," "My Desert Flower," and' "The Cobbler's Song," will be played during the screen, irg. while an Eastern dahco prologue will be given by Radio Drew.

"The Giri Wlio Came Back," Tom Forman's elaborate screen version of the stage production of tho same title, will form the second feature on tho programme. The cast includes Miriam Cooper, Kenneth Harlan, Gaston Glass, Joseph Dowling. Zazu Pitts, Ethel Shannon,-and Fred Malatesta. The story involves tho regeneration of a girl ivhcse efforts to clean the slate of her life form the nucleus for much dramatic action, carrying tho spectator from tile slums of a big Eastern city to southernmost Africa.

Tha Liberty Quality Orchestra, under Mr Howard Moody,' will play appropriate incidental music.
