The heavy-weight Phil Scott outpointed Tom Heeney, tie New Zealandcr, in 20 rounds. The house was packed and saveral hundreds were turned away. Scott had the better of nearly every round. He scored well with body blows and. upoer-cuts in clinches, and kept Hcency off with straight lefts. Hc?ney fought ga-inely, and occssionaiiy looked dangerous with right and left swings, but the Englishman mostly took them ori his arms.
