SOUDAN TROUBLE.
ALL NOW QUIET. (Bt CABLE—fHESS association—copybight) (AUSTBAL'AN AJID IT.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION.) (Received August 14th, 8.50 p.m.) LONDON, August 13. In connexion with the Egyptian trouble, Lord Allenby (High Commissioner for Egypt and the Soudan) and Sir Lee Stack (Governor-General and Sirdar of the Soudan) held a conference with Mr Mac Donald at the Foreign Office. Cairo reports that a demonstration of sympathy with tho disturbances was held in the afternoon.
Everything in the Soudan is now quiet. WARSHIPS TO STAND BY. (recteb's telegrams.) MALTA, August 13. H.M.S. Weymouth, en route to Colombo, has been diverted to Port Soudan, and the battleship Marlborough has been despatched to Alexandria from Znra, Dalrnatia. The siocr> Clematis has also gone to Port Soudan. . ,
