FORMER OFFICIALS SURRENDER TO POLICE. (j!T CABLE—FR2SS ABSOCIATIOir—COPIBJSHr) (austhauah and jj.z. cable association.) (Received August 14th, 10.10 p.m.) SYDNEY, August 14. Mr A. W. Buckley, who was suspended from his position as New South Wales secretary by the Federal executive of the Railway Union on Tuesday, had warrants issued yesterday for the arrest of Heelay, formerly New South Wales treasurer, Petterson,. formerly New South Wales Acting-Secretary, and Connors, a former executive officer, on charges o£ conspiring to defraud the Union of certain sums of money. These men surrendered themselves to the police. Buckley was suspended for action without consulting the executive.
