New Board of Trad© regulations, which operate from July Ist, 192 a, inquire foreign-going vessels, in addi tion to lifeboats, to carry buoyant apparatus with accommodation for per cent, of t-he personnel, also motor-boat equipped with wireless ana a searchlight for every 15 lifeboats. Davits must be capable of turning, out against the heaviest list. Each lifeboat, in addition to water and biscuits, must carry one pound of condensed milk for each occupant. The milk idea is a result of the Trevessa experience.
