Basket-ball. The school team was defeated by the Lyttelton Borough team -by 12 points to nil. Miss French acted as referee. Social Evening. Wetherall, and T. Wyman (s cietarv), who organised the dance, deserv to be congratulated, it being cne of the ffios: successful dances h.'ld in Hoathcote for somtime. Everything wa3 done in true Leap Year fashion, which proved quite an interesting change from the usual orchr of things'.
