The Pictures. "The Phantom. Horseman," starring Jack Hoxie, will be repeated at the Harbour 1 > lit to-night, together with two comedies, and the first episode of "In the Days of Buffalo Bill." A double feature prolamine will be submitted to-morrow. The special feature is "Lavender and Old Lace,' a story of love and romance, featuring .Louis Bennison and Seena Owen. The second feature is "Torment," a Maurice Tourneur production starring • Owen Moore and Bessie Love, and there is a good supporting programme. Pluuket Society. A special meeting of the Plunket Society was heid on Wednesday, when final arrangements were made for the children's fancy dress party, to take place in the Excelsior Hall on August 30th. It was decided to give prizes for the best fancy dress and most original dress, under - eight years, for girls and boys, ar>d the same for girls and boys over eight yean. A.O.F. The fortnightly meeting .of Court Queen of the Isles, A.0.F., was he'd on Wednesday evening, C.R. Bro. S. W. Lane presiding over a good attendance. The sick report was received, and * accounts passed for payment. Two new candidates were initiated. It was decided to hold the fortnightly euchre match to-morrow. Two new candidates were proposed. At the conclusion of the business a social, hour was spent.
