Rattray, E W F. Ward, J. Hill, E, Boldock, P '.Campbell, C. Franklin, and L. L. Smith-, honorary secretary. Apologies for absence were received from Messrs Crawford, Mander, and E. Smith. The South Canterbury. Association wrote regretting ' that it was impossible to send a. team to the tournament. . ' The New Zealand Association wrote forwarding five entries for the shield tournament and static that the next Zanol Cup match would be between- Canterbury and Vt eiiingtc-n, on August 23rd. The date was approved. . • August 23rd was the -date agreed upon for the senior match against- Otago, the Bankin Cup match and the Hatch Cup match, i'he arrangements for grounds and times .vere left to a sub-committee consisting ol Alessrs HoLand, Campbell, and Lamb. -The Kormal School team was' withdrawn from the primary schools' competition. The Competitions Committee reported that Selwyn A were three points ahead of all othel teams in the competition. Selwyn were declared the winners. Sydenham vrere declared the winners of the thirdrrade, and Wharenui the winners of the The second-grade competition will be finished next Saturday. It "was decided to hold the animal reunion ,n Thursday,-September 4th. The secretary was instructed to write to Dr. Hansen, director of the Technical Colege, expressing the Association's appreciation' of his courtesy. in providing a ground ior the Zanol Cup match on August 9th. The manager of the team which visited Geraldine on August 6th reported upon the trip and spoke appreciatively of the hospitality of the Geraldine Clnh.
