MEN RESENT COERCION. (Br CABLE—PEESS ASSOCIATTOS—COPTBIOHT) (ATJSTBALIAH AND S.Z. CAULS ASSOCIATION.) SYDNEY, August 13. After an angry, meeting, at which members of the crew of the Fordsdale wire asked to Bign an agreement p.acing Ihe tLs position of their jobs in the hands of the union and guaranteeing to ob:y any decision of the executive in their regard, the men, with the exception of four or five, refusgd to sign, demanding to know what the decision was. Another attempt will be made to-dsj to coerce the men. (Received August 13th, 10.55 p.m.) SYDNEY, August 13. The union handed a .iat of all the original members of the crew of the steamer Fordsdale to the master, stating that the union had suspended them. The master then paid them off The men will be re-engaged if they offer themselves.
