Trotsky, in a speech, declared that reports of his alleged speech at Podlosk, favouring Bussian invasion of Bessarabia as a step towards the seizure of Constantinople ana xhe Straits, was absolutely untrue. On the contrary, he declared the conquest of the Straits was radically opposed to the policy of the Soviet, which helped Turkey to regain possession of Constantinople and to assure freedom for the Turkish Xationalists.
