MISSIONARIES IN CHINA.
BESIEGED FOR THREE MONTHS. (bv cable—press association oopieight.) tfIVDNEi "SVS" SZBVICE.) PEKING, June 15. The city of Kweilin has been closely besieged for over three months. Twenty British and American missionaries are there, and it is reported the population is in the last stages of famine. No news has been received from the The Foreign Office states that four missionaries were captured when trying to reach Kweilin from Wuchow. They started against official advice and walked open-eyed into the lair.
