MUSGROVE CELEBRITY VAUDEVILLE.
Commencing on Saturday, June 21at, for a season o£ seven nights and a matinee on June 28th, Mr B. A. Shepard will present another, new and brilliant company of Musgrove Celebrity Vaudeville, direct from the Tivol) Theatres of Melbourne and Sydney. It is the intention of the Mußgrove management to present regularly, about every Bix weeks, to theatregoers, complete companies of the world's be3t in vaudeville, as seen at the Palladium, London, and Hippodrome, New-York, and of the class that has mads the Tivoli Theatres of Australia famous in the vaudeville world. The last Musgrove company here waß headed by Long Tack Sam, and provided a rare treat for theatregoers. The new company to be seen here for the first time on Saturday includes nine acts, many of which have been top-liners in the leading vaudeville theatres of England and America. The star turn is provided by an act of international reputation! Noni and Horace, with their musical absurdities. Noni is a world-famous clown known in every part of the Continent whilst Horace, with his musical instruments, provides plenty of delightful humour. Three musical comedy artists from London are Windsor, Edgar, and Kellaway, billed as three musical jokers in one pack. Ke'.laway is a baritone with a big English reputation, and Windsor and Edgar are noted musicians. Another world-known act is that of Benie Riano, who comes direct from the Muaio Boa Revue, London. Miss Riano is a comedienne who is described by the critio of the "Dominion, Wellington, as "an artist who, with her wonderful work and frocking, will provide a sensation for theatregoers." She is the possessor of a pair of limbs which are insured for £20,000. Gudlly and Jcanny, a duo of Continental acrobats, are described as the ."acme of equilibristic novelty." The ir turn is performed on the top of a miniature Eiffel Tower. 'Two singers who are sure to be popular are Bruni Sarti late principal tenor of the Sistine Chapel Choir, and Clare Solli, a contralto with a big Australian reputation. Lea Petit Totos present an act to delight the eye, entitled "Moving Models. It is an exhibition of skill and Artistry Dona d Stuart is described as the "high and mighty magician," as there is 6ft 4in of him. The A'ton Sisters do an attractive act on the silver wire. Altogether there are nine acts, with metropolitan reputations m the vaudeville world. The box plans for the season of seven nights and one matinee open on Thursday at The Bristol.
