IVY OF LINWOOD LODGE, U.A.O.D.
The half-yearly meeting of the Ivy of Linwood .Lodge, U.A.O.JJ., was held, in the Orange Hail, A.jj. Bro. W. McGttifcry presiding ov.er a large attendance' of members. The Bards reported several brothers on the sick list and thou sick pay was passed for payment. Bro. Bateo reported fully on dispensary matters, and Bro. Legge reported on. the arrangements for the U.F.S. picnic on Boxing Day. The Lodge decided to contribute £1 Is towards the Picnic Fund. The balance-sheet for the past half-year, together with the auditor's report, was received and adopted; special mention was made by the auditors of the excellent way in which th» books were kept. The statement of accounts showed that the Lodge funds were well invested, and that satisfactory progress was being made financially. The election ot officers resulted as follows:—A.D., Bro. E. H. George; V.A., Bro. R. Biggs; secretary, Bro. A. E. Palmer (re-elected); treasurer, Bro. H. Luxton (re-elected); min. sec* retary, Bro. F. Legge (re-elected); In. G., Bro. D. Sterritt; 0.G., Bro. T. Burgess; A.D. Bards, Bros. Hoppy and - Dunsford; V.A.' Bards, Bros. Grenfell and Knight; musician, Bro. Grenfell; trustee, Bro. Diokinson; auditor, Bro. Widdowson (re-elected); Gd. Lodge Reps., Bro. T. Burgess, Bates and Hoppy, and Legge (emergency); dispensary Teps., Bros. Bates and Luxton; Benevolent Association Reps., Bros. Legge and Dickinson; TT.F.S. Council Rep., Bro. J. Burgess; Distress Committee, Bros. Georga, Palmer, Luxton, Hoppy, Dunsford, Bates and "Widdowson. The installation of officers was carried out by D.P. Bro. R. Parker, assisted by Gd. Sec. Bro. I. Burgess. P.A. T. Burgess received « hearty vote of tnanlts for his valuable service in the Lodse, and he is to be presented with a P.A. Diploma.
