WILLIAMSON ENGINEERING COMPANY.
Electric pumping outfits is the feature of the exhibit of Williamson Engineering Co., Ltd. This firm, winch specialises in this line of pumping units, received a well-deserved award, receiving the highest award for pumps in this section of exhibits. The silent and sweet-running pumps clearly pointed to the fact that all working parts had been properly machined, finished, and neatly fitted'. The pumm, which have a capacity of 150 to 180 gallons per hour, are very economical to run, the cost per month in the average household being about 2s 6d to 3s. Besides making centrifugal pumpe, this firm makes two standard-sized pumps, one having the motor mounted separately from the pumping bracket, while the other has the motor mounted on top of the pumping bracket. This latter type is self-contained, and takes up very little room. A J h.p. electric motor is supplied with the pumping unit, this amount of power being more than adequate for the average requirements. Adequate provision is made for tightening the belt, lubrication, and adjusting wearing parts, there being no doubt that the machine is built to last a lifetime. The whole outfit is made entirely on the premises of the Williamson Engineering Co., Ltd., 37 Moorhouse avenue (near Lincoln road).
