A NEW AND DISTINCTIVE NOTE IN ARTISTIC FURNITURE.

HULSTON'S LTD.'S INVITING DISPLAY.

Beauty and comforflh the homeland at a minimum of expense, is, in these days, "a consummation devoutly to be wished." That Hulston's, Ltd. have unmietakeably met the need will become quite evident to anybody looking over their comprehensive display of beautiful furnishings at present on view at the A. and P. Show. To members of.'the feminine persuasion, particularly this will prove, easily, the most attractive exhibit on the grounds. How can Hulston's offer tho biggest valuo in furniture in Christchurch? The reasons are simple, obvious, and convincing. Every article is made in their own factory—under personal supervision. They are out of the "high rent area"; and overhead expenses are correspondingly low. They deal direct with the purchasing public, and with "the middleman" out of the way, offer the finest furniture made at prices which cannot be beaten.

Now for some features that must not be missed. First, the "Healsville" Bedroom Suite, in oak, comprising bedstead, wardrobe and duchesse chest. This will make a certain appeal, combining as it does beautiful finish with solid utility. The "Tranhoe" Dining Room' Suite, of 7 pieces; finished in V dark polished oak, upholstered in Rexine • Leather of a dull indigo shade, will win much admiration. One delightful bedroom-suite is of maple-woodj finished in mahogany, and with silver-plated fittings. A unique feature of this is a delightful swinging mirror, oval shaped, which may readily be removed from one portion of the room to another. The above is but a brief, and necessarily inadequate description of an outstanding exhibit; quite typical, though of the nigh standard of work turned out by Hubton's Ltd., 437 and 439, Colombo street South.
