The main body of the Mount Everest Expedition reached Yatung on April 4th, and travelled the Chunibi Valley, whore they discovered extraordinarily ricli forest ond mountain scenery. The routo was very difficult. They expect in two days to reach PhoridKong, whither tho whole outfit was despatched from England, and whore, the main stoires are located. The correspondent adds: "Remembering that the monsoonal weather affects this part of the Himalayas.the earlie.it, there is no time to lows- Probably no more than six weeks is available from tho time the base camp is established at tho foot of Everest till the weather conditions prevent further efforts to scale tho mountain."
