MANY STATES AFFECTED. ] HUGE DAMAGE CAUSED. (By Cublo—Press Association— Copyright.) (Australian and K.Z. C'ablo Awociation.) (Received April 12th, 5.5 p.m.) WASHINGTON, April 11. A telegram from Chicago report*, that floods have caused, damage amounting to millions of dollars throughout Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana,' Michigan, Ohio, and tb« southwest. There were several days of heavy rainfall, causing the rivers to overflow. Numerous towns are several feet under water. Four persons have been drowned. Severe snow and sleet storms in the Middle West demoralised the telegraphs and railways.
