A report is in circulation at the Trades Hall that the • Commonwealth proposes to close down the Cockatoo Island dockyard at-any early date. FATAL FALL OF EARTH. MELBOURNE, March 10. Two boys, Thomas Hickey, aged 13, and George Wood, aged sis, were playing on the sand at Black Rock Beach when some earth gave way. Both were buried, and were dead, when, extrioated. SHARES AT COOGEE. . (Received March 10th, 10.5 p.m.) SYDNEY, March 10. Another shark. hooJced at Coogee measured fourteen feet in length.
