Reinforcements for the Republican forces have arrived Limerick, but peace is being preserved. A Republican manifesto says the occupation of the town is. due to the fact that Mr Mulcahy, tlfe Chief of Staff, has broken his promise to keep the Irish Republican Army intact until the elections have been held. BELFAST FEUD. SNIPERS STILL ACTIVE. (Received March 10th, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, March 9. Spasmodic firing continued in Belfast to-day. A blind man was groping his way homeward with a boy. Both were shot in the head and are dying. Three others were wounded by snipers, who fired from roofs of houses into Royal avenue. Panics were frequent among pedestrians. ■
