LEAGUE OF NATIONS.
SUPPORT OF UNITED CHURCHES. (rBESS association tzlsgbah.) , WELLINGTON, March 1. As a result of the Presbyterian General Assembly's resolution strongly approving pf the League of Nations, aiid initiating action among the churches, a meeting of representatives of all churches in Now Zealand, including the Roman Catholic, was held yesterday. Dr. J. Gibb, who presided, read a letter from Archbishop O'Shea, stating that the object would have the wholehearted sympathy and support of Catholics, iiishop Hprott wrote that "in & movement so eminently Christian, thero is room for some action on the part cf the chu/ches." The meeting resolved to issue a statement strongly supporting the League of Nations, and giving oppression t# the ever-deepening conviction of Christian people that there must be no more war. >
