Ah agreement has been provisionally reached between the Reparations Commission and Germany which provides for on annual payment of 720,000,000 gold m'arkß in (•ash, and 1,450,000,000 marks in kind. The former amount will not bo increased if the latter is not r£aohed. There will he a simplification of the machinery for the distribution of orders for goods which aro expected to mainly comprise articles not competing with the Entente's own industries. Steps are being taken to eliminate the middleman.
