THE LEIPZIG TRIALS. (By ' Cable—Press Association—Copyright.) (Australian and K.Z. Cable Association.) LONDON, February 27. Sir Gordon He-wart (AttoVney-Gen-eral), in the House of Commons, replying to a question, said the committee of lawyers appointed by the Supreme Council to consider the report of the trial of the German war prisoners at Leipzig, reported that some of those acquitted should have been convicted. Representations were made to the German Government, which ordered the re-arrest of those concerned, but' there was no information to show that this order had been carried out. »
