EXPEDITION TO TIMBUCTOO.
TRANS-SAHARA PROJECT. (By Cable—Press Association—'Copyright.) (Router's Telegrrma.) (Received September 9th, 7.30 p.m.) PARIS, September 8. Arrangements are being mado for twelve caterpillar tractor ten horsepower motor-cars to attempt to cross the Sahara desert to Timbuctoo, a distance of 2000 miles. It is estimated the (journey will take a fortnight. Eaoh car will carry a machine-gun.
