The "Gazette" containsAho following comparative table of the death rate per 1000 of population in the- four citieß and corresponding metropolitan areas (giv»n in parentheses) for July:-rAucklond, 1.13 (1.01); Wellington, 0.74 (0.67) Chrisichurch, 0.94 (0.95); Dunodva, 1.30 (1.21).
