(Received February 2nd, 8.15 p.m.) . / LONDON, February 1. .The Mines Department announces that the prices or coal will be decontrolled on March Ist, when the instructions that collieries must supply specified districts will also be withdrawn. . The "Daily Telegraph" estimates that the output from the coal mines in February will be a million tons a week less than during December, which will lesson the miners' earning powers to the extent of £1,250,000. The reduction in wages by 2s already announced will mean another half a million, and this enormous r&taction. in the spendbig power of the miners will affect many k trades,
