At a meeting of German newspaper publishers, held at Leipzig in May, the chairman, Herr Faber, said that German newspapers would havo to suspend publication if the Government did not take immediate steps to stop the rise in tha» price of paper. If the Government failed to do so there was a dfinger of foreign Press enterprises coming forward as German firms, and of newspaper machinery and material going abroad. This, he said, had already happened in several cases in the occupied territory.
