, A genoral meeting of the New Brighton • unit of the National Reserve was held on Tueeday evening Jsr I\ Kibblewhite presiding over a large attendance. The meeting waa colled for the purpose of considering n» chango of name, and after considerable discussion it was decided, on the motion of Mr B. Harding, seconded by Mr \V. Barnett, "That the New Brighton -unit of the National Reserve be disbanded and xe-formed into a miniature rifle club." On the motion of Mr Hawker, it. was agreed that tho name of the club be tho New Brighton Reserve Miniaturo Rifle Club. Tho election of officers resulted aa follows:—President, Mr F. Kib- • blcwhito; vice-presidents, Messrs A. AV. ■ Owles and G. Anderson; captain, Mr G W Bishop; lion, treasurer, Mr B. Harding; ion' secretary, Mr W. Barnett; committee, Messrs O. H. Hempleinan H.
