ARRIVAL OF SOLDIERS TO-DAY
The soldiers for Canterbury and other parts of the South Island, who recently arrived by Transport R.D. 159, will roach Christchurch this morning. The train convoving them from Lyttelton is expected to arrive at the southern platform of the Christchurch railway station at 11 a.m. .
There are eleven cot cases for Christchurch, arid two for Timaru; sixty-one walking cases for Christchurch and suburbs, twenty for places south of Christchurch, eleven for the West Coast, and six for Hanmor.
The Canterbury Automobile Association will provide motor-cars as usual, and in view of the large number of soldiers to be conveyed, it is specially dosired that every car that is available shall be in attendance.
