CASUALTIES
DEATH UNDER ANESTHETIC
Peter John Morrissey. aged. 48 years, who was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital on May 12th suffering from some undiagnosed trouble, suddenly expired while under an anaesthetic in the operating theatre on Tuesday. Drs. Curry and vVill were in charge of tho operation, which was for the purpose of removing some fluid from the region . f the spine. His wife and family reside at 73 Durham street.
