'..1 I The readings taken at the Aahburton Domain weather station, at 9 a.m. yesterday, were: —Barometer, 30.02; thermometer, max. GO, min, 38; rain, 0.2. SUMMARY AMD FORECAST. The anti-cyclonic pressure continues to dominate tha weather conditions, but rain has- been reported to-day in the northern and southernmost parts, and at New Plymouth. The winds have been variable, moderate to strong, westerlies predominating. Present indications are for south-westerly breezes, veering to freshening northerlies. Increasing cloudiness and haze mey be expected with a change following. The barometer will be falling everywhere for an extensive area, tie low pressure beiag duo to pass in tho South in the early part of nest week.
