"WHEAT FOE FOWL FEED. By Order-in-Council the retail price of vheat suitable for fowl feed has been fixed in the following terma:—"The maximum prioe of wheat inferior in quality to good, milling-heat when sold for delivery in any month by any person other than the grower ehall be the same as the price lawfully payable for similar wheat when sold wholesale by millers, brokers, 01s other purchasers from the growers for delivery in the same montli fr&, on board at Lyttelton on the ueual trade terms, with the following additions only to such lawful price—namely, an addition of 15 per oent., together with a further addition tho transit'charges actually paid by the retail seller of such wheat."

EXPORT OF HIDES. (PRESS association telegram.) WELLINGTON, May 0. An Order-in-Council gazetted last month prohibited the export of hides and calfskins to any destination savo with the consent ot the Minister of Customs. It is now announced that for the present applications to export hides and calfskins to British or Allied destinations will be favourably considered.
