ALLEGED SEDITION.
ANOTHER INFORMATION AGAINST R. SEMPLE. Yesterday afternoon a further information, charging TLobcrt Semple with having uttered seditious language, was sworn by Superintendent Ihvyer. The language alleged to be seditious was used by Mr Semple in his address in Victoria square on Sunday afternoon last. Tho information is under the War Regulations, issued on the 4th inst. The particular regulation sets out: "No person shall publish, or cause or permit to be published, or do any act with intent to publish, or to cause or permit to be published, any seditious utterance." The hearing of the information will be taken at the Magistrate's Court tomorrow, when the hearing will be resumed of the charges laid against Semple in respect of alleged offenoss at Wellington and Auckland under Clause 4 of the War Regulations made on July 19th, 1915.
