NELSON, Juno - j The vessel wrecked at Farewell Spit ■ has been definitely identified as .the* i scow Sontihern Isle, owned by Tasker and Levi en and the master, and the . engineer—all of Nelson. She carried"* 1 crew of five men, consisting of. (J. Gilfc son (master), A. Foster (engineer), O.i Montoith. A.B. (Blenheim), / J. GliftoS, j A.8., and a cook whoso name is unknown. A party from Nelson reachcd tho wreck yesterday, and searched for tbo crew, of whom no trace was; found, The Government tup Janie Seddon ' leaves to-night to assist in the search. The Southern Isle left North Capo ■'* for Picton last Sunday week, laden with " coal, and it is believed that she met with bad weather early in the week. ,
