LADY LIVERPOOL FUND. CONDENSED MILK WANTED. The work of packing up Christma« parcels for the front is being carried out with the utmost speed by the lady helpers of the Lady Liverpoo; Fund depot. There seems to be fioma little anxiety, however, qa to the adequate, supply of condensed milk. Mr Nat. Woods's offed to supply 1200 tins •on the condition that nine similar offers .would be forthcoming has not eo fax met with the anticipated response. The difficulty of obtaining milk of any description on the Gallipoli Peninsnla renders it almost imperative that this deficiency should be made up, and it ie to be hoped that the appeal will not go unheeded. LEATHER WAISTCOAT FUND. KAITUNA. A social in aid of the leather waiatooat fund was held at Mr E. W. B. Bayley's reaidence lastt week. A fair number of the valley resident® were preeent, and a very pleasant evening was spent. ' The amuse* meats were organised by Miss D. Field sod Mrs Bayley, . and took the foTm of card games, guessing competitions, aales of sweets, etc. The rceult was highly successful, £19 5s being realised for ' the fund.
