SYDENHAM (6) v. ALBION (3).
Albion took the field with only 12 men. and immediate , after tho kickoff, Sydenham started a passing rush, from Vl.ich Clemens scored. I>oeil failed with the kick. Sydenham 3, Albion nil. Immediately afterwards Watson made a fino opening, and Clemens again scored, but missed the kick. Sydenham 6, Avion nil. Albion, who now had 11 men. pressed Sydenham, and from a free-kick the Cardirals wero forced. The Blacks had several optfortui ities of scoring, but they larked combination. On changing over. Albion had their full complement of men, while "Watson, in tho Srdenham team, retired with an irjnred head. The Blacks immediately pressed, and Sydenham were lucky to force-down. Sydenham wore feeling; the loss of Watson, and they wero hard pressed to keep the Blanks out. From a passing rush Buchanan wort over at the corner, but Henry failed with tho kick. Sydenham 6. Albion 3. The Blacks kept w> the pressure., and Sheridan wa-s near 1 - over. From a frceki"k. Jordan made a effort, ard tiico was called leaving Sydenham winrcrx by 6 pfMnV; (two tries) to 3 points (ouo try). Mr- W. Dnggan was referee.
