TO FURTHER THE REPEAL AGITATION.
(Received March 15th, 5.5 p.m.) WASHINGTON. March 14. The Senate Lobbying Investigation Committee learned from a witness that the Carnegie endowment for international peace had spent £6000 in promoting the repeal of the Canal tolls. Millions of pamphlets hare been distributed throughout the United States against the tolls exemption.
