EXPLANATION WANTED.
WASHINGTON, March 13. The Senate passed a resolution demanding an explanation from Dr. Pago, Ambassador at London, for saying at the banquet of tho Associated* Chambers of Commerce, how pleased Americans were to know that Britain would be the chief gainer by the Panama Canal.
