SOUTHBRIDGE

The Southbridge Town Board met on Thursday evening, when there wcr<» present—Messrs K. G. Ilubbard (chairman). J. C. Free. R. Harncy, R. Howe, and Goo. Dyce. The Ellesrnerp County Cauncil wrote, stating that it could not soe its way to assist in laying culverts at, Hill's and Curran's corners, in the Southbridgo township, but that au offer mado a month previously to lay n.4Oft culvert at Flood's comer, tho Board to pay half the cost, was still open for acceptance. Mr Fred's .suggestion was agreed to, and it was loft to him to interview the Coun:y Council with regard to the matter.
