ASHBURTON HORSE FAIR.
There was a total of 60 entries at the monthly horse fair held by the Now Zealand Farmers' Co-onerative. There was a large attendance of buyers, and a keen demand for good draughts. The principal prices were :—Mares—72 guineas, 52 guineas. 40 guineas, LAI, £25, £22 10s, and £23. Geldings—£2o. /'3O £36. £13 10s, £18 Uh, £37 10s, and £42 10s. A nnml>er of hacks fiora'Mount Possession realised £8 .>s, £11 10s. £7 los, £9, £14 os, £14 10s, £15, and £22 os. .
